Created by HButler on 9/25/2012 2:02:15 PM

Ro-ro carrier SC Line has expanded its services to include calls at Jacksonville and Houston.

SC Line’s USATRUCK service, which was first launched on May 4 with service to Port Everglades, Cartagena (Colombia) and Manzanillo (Panama), last week added a regular call at Jacksonville. The carrier will use the MV Strait of Gibraltar to cover the expanded service, which offers a total round trip transit time of 11-12 days.

The carrier has also expanded its existing MEXTRUCK service to include a U.S. call at the Port of Houston. The port rotation of the expanded service, which employs the MV Strait of Dover, will be as follows: Houston – Altamira, Mexico – Veracruz, Mexico – Cartagena, Colombia – Santa Marta, Colombia – La Guaira, Venezuela – Houston. Total transit time for the round trip will be 15 days.
