East Coast Warehouse & Distribution Opens Expanded Inspection Station

East Coast Warehouse & Distribution Corp, based in Elizabeth, N.J., opened an expanded non-intrusive inspection facility on Oct. 5.
The 14-acre Comprehensive Examination Station, operated through a division called East Coast CES, is adjacent to the Port of New York and New Jersey, allowing for the speedy handling of containers targeted by U.S. Customs and Border Protection for examination, the company said. In addition to NII exams performed at this new yard, East Coast CES provides contraband enforcement (CET), agriculture (AQI) and manifest (MET/Trade) exams for imports through the port.
